Space for You
Start with a 90-minute session focused on the tension, stress or stiffness you notice. Experience the work before deciding whether to return.
Websites for the work you bring to the world
Your work begins with people. Your website should make it easier for them to find you, understand what you offer and take the next step. We build it in your voice, with simple ways for clients to work with you.
Your words, photographs and branding. Room to grow.
Why I’m offering this
Andrew Barnes
I know how stressful it can be to build and maintain a website when you’re not technically minded. I’ve experienced it myself, and I’ve heard the same frustration from so many people in the helping professions.
You want to share what matters to you and be present for the people you work with. Yet the hours can disappear into trying to make a website work.
I created this service to make that part easier: a family of carefully designed templates that we turn into your website, with the pages and tools your work needs. You bring the work you care about; we help give it a clear, welcoming home online. You only pay for what you need.
Whether you support someone one to one, share your teaching or bring a whole community together, your website should reflect the care you bring. Choose a core for your sessions, workshops, events, courses, festivals or conferences.
How we build your website
Your chosen template gives us the starting point. Your words, photographs and branding make it yours. We guide you from the first choices to a website you feel ready to share.
Explore the website examplesPick the website core package that fits your work.
See packagesAfter payment, we email your preparation guide and forms.
We build your website and send a private preview.
Once you’re happy, we connect your website address, test the customer journey and show you how to manage your website, so you feel ready to welcome clients and get on with the work you love.
Use the preparation forms we email you to send your approved words, photographs and branding. Please only include material you have permission to use. If you’ve chosen our writing or AI image service, those forms will guide you through sharing your ideas, dot points and reference photographs instead of finished content.
You can request changes twice before launch. Each time, we send a private preview and a review form. Review the whole website, then send one complete form with your requested changes and any replacement words or images. We make those changes before your next review. Leave form sections blank where you’re happy. These two feedback submissions cover the whole website, including purchased features and our writing or images.
Your core package uses the template’s page layouts. Different layouts, additional features, further feedback submissions or a new direction are priced separately, with your agreement before we start. Search engine optimisation (SEO), custom email designs, automated series of emails, marketing campaigns and a new business email account are also separate services.

Show people what makes your festival or conference worth attending, with clear routes to the programme, speakers, facilitators and registration. Help them make a confident booking.

Running your website
You don’t need to be technical. After your website payment, we help set up your accounts and show you the everyday tasks, so you can get on with the work you love.
Your festival or conference core includes a private organiser area for the agreed programme and participant records. Payment status means seeing which bookings are paid or still awaiting payment. We show you this area and the connected payment tools. Advanced team workspaces are separate extras.
Keep your focus on your clients while we look after the website. Choose regular website care, or book us for content updates, repairs and new features. See the monthly and annual plans and separately priced work below.
Your accounts, website files and business records stay in your name. Working with us gives you continuity with the team who built your website, while you keep ownership and access.
Separate from your website build
Your build price covers creating and setting up your website. Use the costs below to plan your budget before paying for the build. After payment, we guide you through choosing and setting up the right accounts. You pay those providers directly. We take no percentage of your sales.
Wix runs the tools behind your website, for example bookings, online courses, your shop and automated emails. Your core package needs a paid Wix subscription. Studio Standard is our usual starting point, budgeted at around US$20/month; after your build payment, we help you check the current local price and billing period before you subscribe to Wix.
This is called hosting. We use Vercel, the company that makes your website available to visitors. Your own Vercel Pro subscription includes a monthly usage allowance, and we help you set up spending alerts.
You register your website address, also called a domain name, in your own name and pay to renew it. We connect an address you already own or help you choose and register one.
The company processing your customers’ credit or debit card payments charges a fee per payment. Wix may also charge a sales fee when you sell through its paid-package system, including recurring membership payments. Rates depend on your provider, country and payment method. Allow for transaction fees in your budget; after your build payment, we guide you through checking the rates when connecting payments.
GitHub stores your website’s code and change history in your own account. Approved code changes are published through Vercel. GitHub is separate from Wix, which manages your bookings, courses and other business tools. Any paid GitHub features you choose are a separate subscription.
If you choose to maintain the website code yourself using AI, budget for a suitable paid coding plan, such as ChatGPT with coding tools or Claude Code, with enough usage for your website. You’ll connect it to your website files, review its changes, test them and publish through GitHub and Vercel. Routine tasks in Wix, such as changing availability, don’t require AI. When you hire us to do the technical work, we use our own tools.
Course videos can use storage included in your Wix plan; a larger library or separate video host may add a cost. A business email address, larger newsletter mailings or automatic message translation may also have separate charges. Choose these services during setup after your build payment.
First choose your website package and pay for the build. Then we help you with subscriptions. The prices, allowances and running-cost guide on this page help you budget before buying. Personal account advice, setup guidance and preparation forms begin after payment.
During setup, we explain which services your chosen features need and help you select the plans. Before you subscribe to each provider, you see its current local price, tax, billing period and renewal terms. A monthly equivalent may require paying for a year upfront.
Adding bookings, courses or a shop does not automatically mean paying for another service or upgrading Wix. We check storage, records, forms and staff access against your needs. We also explain any usage charges for hosting, newsletter sending or translation.
For paid courses, we can use Wix video storage and course access. Unlisted YouTube links can be passed on, so they are not a protected course library. Separate video hosting with tighter embedding controls is an optional cost. If you plan to make code changes yourself, include an AI coding subscription in your budget too.
Optional additional features for your core website

Required features are shown together, with no double charges for anything already included. Provider running costs are separate.
Optional support after launch
Choose the support that suits your business, from regular checks to more changes taken care of for you. You’ll work with the team who built your website and understands its design, booking tools and connections.

Prices cover one core practitioner website in one language. Additional features and other website types are quoted separately. Provider subscriptions and applicable tax are extra.
You’ve selected Festival and Conference Organiser. Choose the level of support you’d like and we’ll quote it for your website. The practitioner prices below are a guide, not your confirmed price.
Your support choice
Choose a plan above to add it to your website enquiry.
Separate from your build price. Selecting a plan does not subscribe you or take payment.
Monthly and yearly billing provide the same monthly service. Annual plans are paid upfront. Once activated, your plan renews on your chosen billing cycle until cancelled; cancel before renewal to stop the next charge. Support continues for the period already paid.
Your extra 30 minutes each month can cover supplied words or photos, small changes to existing pages or settings, or technical maintenance. We also use this time to review relevant template and software updates. We agree the work that fits the time, then make and test the changes.
New pages, larger features, redesigns, substantial repairs and work beyond your allowance are quoted separately. Priority handling puts your requests ahead of standard change requests; it is not emergency or round-the-clock cover. We agree the timing for each job.
Website Care includes 20 minutes for monthly checks and reporting, plus 10 minutes for minor fixes. Care + SEO adds 10 minutes for search checks and reporting, plus 5 minutes for a small SEO fix. VIP adds a further 30 minutes for agreed changes or maintenance. These allowances are separate and unused time does not carry forward.
Your monthly report explains what we checked, what we changed and anything that needs attention. If work will exceed the allowance, we give you a quote before starting it. Search monitoring needs Google Search Console to be connected; connecting it is part of the separate launch SEO service.
Full payment and email tests, software upgrades and larger repairs need their own quote, or can use VIP time if we agree they fit. These are scheduled services, not continuous monitoring. Corrections covered by your original build agreement remain covered by that agreement.
Choosing a plan here adds it to your enquiry. Before it starts, we confirm the scope, any extra features, price, tax, response arrangements, first charge and cancellation method. Your support begins after launch on an agreed date. Nothing is charged simply because you select a card.
We may review maintenance, SEO and support fees to reflect changes in the cost of providing the service. We will email you at least 60 days before an increase takes effect, explaining the new price and start date. The increase applies at your first renewal after that notice period. A prepaid annual plan keeps its agreed price and scope until the end of its paid term. You may cancel renewal before the increase takes effect without a cancellation penalty.
Website support is a separate service and is not a lifetime commitment. If we decide to discontinue it, we will give you at least 90 days’ written notice. We will provide your current website files and existing handover instructions, confirm your account access, and refund any prepaid support covering the period after our service ends. You may maintain the website yourself or appoint another provider. Additional migration or development work requires a separate agreement. Ending support does not remove your rights relating to work already supplied or any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Wix, hosting, domain and other third-party subscriptions remain separate. If your site is temporarily hosted in our account, we coordinate its transfer under the arrangements in your order.
Email us before the next renewal to stop it without a cancellation penalty. Support continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Ordinary cancellation does not refund that paid period, but your rights if the service is not delivered remain. Your order confirms the billing dates and whether renewal is automatic or invoiced.
Read the Website Services Agreement
We can add pages, develop new features, prepare another course or make more substantial design changes as your business grows. Send us what you need and we’ll agree the price and timing before starting. You can book this work with or without a care plan. Support for larger websites, festivals and advanced workspaces is quoted for the systems involved.
We build your website as its own copy of the starting template, with your own files, accounts and business records. Later improvements to our master template do not automatically change your live website. Updates need to be checked against your version and applied deliberately.
With VIP Care, we can review relevant updates and apply agreed changes within your monthly allowance. Larger updates are quoted separately. Website Care and Care + SEO cover their listed checks and minor fixes; they do not include every future template feature or software upgrade.
You keep your independent website copy. It does not need to be disconnected from a live master template, and your changes do not alter ours. You become responsible for checking, testing and applying updates to your version, including security fixes and changes needed when connected services change.
At launch, we give you account access, instructions and a practical introduction. This is the handover. For AI-assisted code changes, budget for a suitable coding subscription and connect it to your GitHub files, Vercel and any relevant Wix tools. Routine Wix tasks, such as changing appointment availability, use the dashboard and don’t require AI.
We do not overwrite your changes or automatically maintain a self-managed site. Wix, Vercel, payment providers and other connected services can still change independently of our template. If you want our help again, we review your current version and quote any work needed before taking it on.
Your questions answered
Still unsure about something? You’re welcome to ask.
Ask Andrew a questionFor the standard booking setup, use Wix Bookings to set your working hours, change availability and block time off. Standard events use Wix Bookings for dates, places, prices and registrations, with descriptions and photographs in the editable content area we connect to your event pages.
For courses, we show you the Wix course tools and any additional controls included in your package. A new course also needs its website page, purchase option and learner access connected and checked; creating it in Wix alone does not complete those steps. Our additional course setup is available if you want us to prepare it for you.
The webinar extra includes its own private Webinars workspace. Create another session, add your meeting link, set free or paid registration and share its page. You can manage future webinars yourself without another setup fee from us. Replay and reminder controls are included when you purchase those extras. You do not need to buy the festival workspace.
We provide instructions for your agreed setup. Routine tasks in these tools do not need AI or code changes. New layouts, custom features and work you ask us to do for you are quoted separately.
Your words, photographs and branding make the template yours. The page layouts stay in place and adapt to screen size. The demos also show optional additional features; your package includes only what you purchase.
Checkout, sign-in and some course screens may look different or add a step. We confirm the layouts, features, payment flow and any material differences before purchase. The examples don’t take payments.
Choose one: itemised pass, accommodation and meals; pass only; an inclusive package with upgrades; or a pass with separate venue booking instructions. Room choices and attendee quantities within that arrangement are included.
Early-bird pricing and multiple simultaneous arrangements are additional features. In a venue-paid arrangement, venue charges stay separate and are explained to participants.
The standard Wix-connected setup opens a secure checkout, then returns customers to your website. Stripe can process payments where supported and connected. Credit or debit card fields directly on your page need a separately agreed integration; connecting Stripe to Wix doesn’t add them automatically. Bank verification may add a step.
Your core uses one receiving business and currency. Educator or facilitator profiles don’t create independent seller accounts or automatic payouts. Separate seller access, revenue reports and payouts need their own scope. You complete bank or identity checks directly with the provider.
We configure the agreed website payment setup using the tax information you provide and show you where to manage it. You and your accountant are responsible for confirming that information and maintaining your tax settings, records and reporting.
Where your setup uses Wix tax settings, you can manage them in your own dashboard. Available options depend on the Wix service and plan; we confirm what your agreed setup supports. Tax advice, bookkeeping, tax returns and payments to tax authorities are not included.
If another company issues your invoices or receives payments, its confirmed instructions guide the website prices and payment process. Changing Wix settings does not change that company’s invoices. We confirm the customer-facing totals before enabling paid bookings or sales.
After payment, your preparation forms guide you through sending your website words, photographs, branding, offers and prices. Once those forms and the required accounts are ready, we agree the build start, review and launch dates. Tell us your target date in the forms so we can plan towards it. If you need a faster launch, request priority scheduling; we’ll confirm availability and an additional fee before you commit to that service.
Yes. Add content within the layouts and tools we set up, or ask us to quote new features and done-for-you content. You can combine compatible kinds of work without buying a second whole core. Each additional festival or conference edition is a separate paid setup.
We put together general Terms and Privacy wording for your website, including relevant EU privacy information where needed, and publish it once you approve it. You are responsible for making sure it suits your business and the laws in your country and region. Arrange independent legal advice if you need it; we don’t provide specialist legal drafting, legal review or a guarantee of compliance.
We also add simple explanations where people share their details: what you collect, why you need it and how it will be used. Newsletter sign-up asks for permission separately. Where consent is needed for optional cookies or tracking, visitors can choose whether to allow them and change their choice later.
We check readable text, colour contrast, keyboard navigation, headings, form labels and descriptions for meaningful images, including the agreed booking journey. Accessibility also depends on your final content and third-party tools. Formal certification requires a separate full assessment.
SEO helps your website appear for the services people are looking for, bringing more relevant visitors and more opportunities for enquiries, bookings and sales. We make it clearer to Google what you offer and who you help, so your website has a stronger foundation for reaching potential clients.
We quote launch SEO for your selected website, with the pages and search work clearly listed. We submit your sitemap to help Google discover the pages. Search Console then shows how your site is appearing in searches. Results build over time and rankings cannot be guaranteed.
Our optional monthly monitoring helps spot search issues and opportunities. When you want to develop your visibility further, we can quote additional SEO and content work around your business goals.
Your website includes a discreet footer credit, “Website by Andrew Barnes”, linked to https://www.andrewbarnes.org/practitioner-websites. You agree to keep this credit visible and linked while using the website we supply, including if you manage it yourself. Any change or removal must be agreed with us in writing. The credit identifies who built the website; it does not mean ongoing support is included.
Your core, chosen additional features, separate running costs and total build price, including applicable tax. You also review the Website Services Agreement covering payment, revisions, cancellation, support and the linked “Website by Andrew Barnes” footer credit. Separately quoted work needs an agreed price before purchase. Reviewing or copying a selection on this page doesn’t place an order.
