Edessa grows from a shared vision between Andrew Barnes and Daniela Jakway: space for depth and discovery, alongside music, laughter and connection.

and the heart between them.
Andrew’s vision for Edessa is a mature, grounded celebration of Tantra, alive with pleasure, connection and the possibility of awakening.
At its heart is an invitation to explore how sexual energy can deepen our capacity to feel and love. Integrity, empathy and care guide the way we meet ourselves and one another.
Together with Daniela, Andrew is shaping a festival where meaningful exploration and wholehearted celebration can share the same space.

Inspired by water.
Connected through the heart.
Daniela is bringing Edessa to life in Bulgaria together with Andrew. Their shared intention is a gathering where sexuality, spirituality, pleasure and connection are welcomed with maturity and warmth.
Her connection with the sea and the movement of water helped inspire the name Edessa and the flowing spirit of the festival.
That spirit leaves room for a shared experience, an unexpected conversation, music and movement, and the pleasure of feeling fully alive together.
