01 · The experience
Notice the familiar. Make room for something new.
Three-day workshop Guided by Nora Berg
Step away from the usual pace and give your attention to the way you sit, reach, turn and rest. Nora combines gentle movement explorations, clear explanations and time to compare your own experience. Each day builds on the last, without asking you to push through discomfort.
There is time to try, compare and ask questions. You do not need to perform, get it right or have the same experience as anyone else. We begin with what you can comfortably notice, and let curiosity lead the way.
What you’ll explore
Learning through your own experience.
Notice how support and effort change in everyday movements.
Explore comfortable options for your shoulders, ribs, spine and feet.
Develop a short practice you can return to in an ordinary week.
What travels home
A little more choice. Something you can use.
A personal collection of small movement discoveries, with practice notes to help you revisit them. Choose what is useful to you and let it grow through everyday experience.
There is no particular result you need to produce. Noticing a small change, or recognising what you need, can be a useful beginning.
Somatic movement & awareness
Meet Nora Berg.
Nora invites you to get curious about the way you move. Through small, comfortable explorations, she helps you notice familiar habits and find possibilities that make sense in your own body.
I offer a clear starting point, then leave room for your experience. A smaller movement, a pause or a question can tell us more than trying harder. You are welcome to sit, observe or adapt anything we explore.
Organised by The Meeting Place. Our team looks after your registration, practical information and booking questions. The facilitators above guide the teaching.
A clear picture of the setting, what is included and how to prepare helps you arrive with a little more ease.
