The Meeting Place promotes and organises events led by different independent facilitators. We bring their workshops to welcoming venues, with one organising team looking after registration, communication and practical arrangements.
Our role is to take care of the gathering: the place, the practical information and the people coming together. The facilitators bring their teaching. You bring your own experience.

We look for teaching that is clear, practical and respectful of choice. Before an event, we work with the facilitators on the programme, the setting and the information you need to decide.

We choose venues for the kind of learning taking place, and explain access, accommodation and meal arrangements on each event page. You can ask our team about a practical need without having to chase several people.

Our gatherings are deliberately small enough for questions and pauses. We value what happens between the scheduled sessions too: a quiet moment, a walk at lunch or a conversation that helps something settle.
